My blonde gals have it so much easier…dry shampoo just magically blends with their beautiful locks whereas us brunettes sometimes look like 80-year-old Grammys with gray roots when all is said and done!
I’m the type of gal who relies heavily on dry shampoo as I only wash my hair twice a week. Not Your Mothers Beach Babe Texturizing Dry Shampoo
Not Your Mothers products are in frequent rotation at my house. Between their dry shampoo and their texturizing sea salt spray, I am a big fan! With this product, I have the ability to combine both of my favorite products into one. Not only am I absorbing oils in my hair, I am adding a little bit of grit for great styling ability. Plus the coconut scent gives me beach vibes even in the middle of winter. The only downfall with this product is it makes your roots feel a little stiff and thick, however, it blends in really nicely into dark hair.
Pantene Never Tell Dry Shampoo
At first when I tried this product, I was not a fan! When you first spray your roots, your hair almost looks wet…not into it! However, I gave this little cutie a second chance when I was completely out of my other TRESemme product and desperate. The trick with this product is to let it set into your hair for a minute or two before blending into your roots. It completely refreshed my dirty, day 4 hair! This is definitely a product I grab on my dirtiest of hair days as it gives my hair life again before my next hair washing day!
Kristin Ess Dry Shampoo
I’m not going to lie, I was very on the fence to try this product because it costs $14….$14 for a 4oz bottle… are you insane?!? I’m a girl on a budget and $14 for dry shampoo is not in the budget. BUT HEAR ME OUT! I’m also a gal who believes in quality over quantity and this product is just that! Not only does this product smell lovely, it is as light as a feather in your hair! The blending is perfect and my roots do not feel like I have a stiff build up of product. This product will hold up even with the dirtiest of hair and will transform you into a new woman! A little went a long way so I’ll have this product for a while…definitely worth the price in my opinion!
TRESemme Pro Pure Dry Shampoo
TRESemme products are another tried and true staple in our house. I love their shampoo/conditioners, hairspray, curl spray, and of course, their dry shampoo! Like the Kristin Ess product, this product is super light and airy in your hair, blends beautifully, and gives you that much-needed hair refresh after that sweaty workout. After I use this product, I feel like my hair is instantly clean again! Styling your hair after applying this product is also super easy! This is a way more cost-effective option compared to the Kristin Ess product as it is only $6 for a 5oz bottle. The majority of TRESemme products also come in a travel size which you know are already locked and loaded in my travel bag!
SGX NYC 3 – in -1 Dry Texture Spray
When I need to style my hair immediately after washing it, this is my holy grail product! It not only can be used for dry shampoo, but it also adds a little bit of grit and a lot of volume to your hair! By the time I’m done styling, my hair can hold a lot of secrets if ya know what I mean 🙂 It blends super smoothly into dark hair so I never have to worry about white streaks. The only downside to this product is I’m not a huge fan of the smell…it’s not the worst, but it’s not the best. Definitely worth having in your styling arsenal though!
