I have a passion for forensic science (specifically fingerprints), making excuses to go to Marshalls, and Taco Tuesdays.
I designed this space as a way to decompress from the stressful nature of my job…It’s not easy staring violence in the face everyday but someone has to do it!
In all seriousness, I started this blog as a way to fulfill this urge inside of me to do more. After I finished grad school, I felt lost. Can anyone else relate?!? Sure, not having hours of homework after a long workday was super refreshing, but I was bored. This lady needs a routine!
I love to learn, teach, take risks, and experience life outside my comfort zone. This is a place where you can do just that! It’s a conversation with your sister or best gal pal, a place to assist you on your career path, a lifestyle inspiration guide, and more.
Most days I’m holding life together by a bobby pin…so how can we have a successful career all while managing not to burn down the kitchen, live on a budget, balance health, happiness, and a relationship, and drink enough water?!?
Let’s find out together!
I am the oldest of three…my siblings are twins!
I didn’t choose the Forensic lifestyle; the Forensic lifestyle chose me. I picked what is now my career out of a hat in 8th grade.
I received my B.S in Forensic and Investigative Science from West Virginia University (cheers, beers, mountaineers!) and my M.S in Forensic Science from Florida International University.
My favorite holiday is Cinco de Mayo…if you don’t like tacos then I’m nacho type!
I’m originally from New Hampshire but I have lived in West Virginia, Florida, Virginia, Texas and now currently, Massachusetts. If you need your apartment packed, I’m your girl! But for real, call me!
I’m a lover of all crime documentaries, fitness, cats, my mum’s chocolate chip cookies, and shoes!
