I tried magnetic lashes and I can’t wait to tell you what I thought of them!
Listen, ladies, I used to get eyelash extensions and I could have not felt more glamorous! But do you know what didn’t feel glamorous? My bank account!
On a forensic scientist’s salary, I quickly came to the realization that there was no room for eyelash extensions and my obsession for Target plus my mortgage, student loans, and other financial obligations in one paycheck. Cue the tiny violin.
When I made the decision to get serious about paying down my debt, my eyelash extensions were the first luxury to get the axe. That extra $80 a month quickly added up and contributed to me paying off my car faster.
But what’s a gal to do when she just wants to feel pretty but on a budget?!? Cue magnetic lashes!
I first heard of magnetic lashes when they were two sets of lashes that sandwiched your natural lashes together using a magnet attached to each pair of fake lashes…not going to lie, I wasn’t interested!
However, magnetic lashes have evolved since then!
With the new and improved version, the lash extensions adhere to above your lash line with a magnetized eyeliner! How cool is that! The pair of lashes have the tiniest magnets placed along the base that “stick” to the eyeliner you put on along your lash line.
After reading some reviews, I decided, why not give it a try!
My thoughts…

Because I do not get all dolled up for work, I would not wear them on an everyday basis. I do not typically wear eyeliner, and with these magnetic lashes, it’s a must. If you are a gal who rocks liner every day, these lashes are for you!
My fear with these lashes (like any fake lash) is that they would feel heavy on top of my regular lashes. To my surprise, after wearing them all day, I didn’t even realize I had them on!
My other fear was like I was going to look too “done up” for a regular occasion. Again to my surprise, they looked pretty natural! They definitely elevated my beauty look but in an organic way…I was here for it!
The price for the set I bought was also super reasonable. For 10 sets of lashes that you can wear multiple times was only $15. That definitely can fit into my tight budget especially if I’m only wearing them once in a while! I’ve added the set I bought plus a few others that had really great reviews for you to try below!
These lashes were also super user friendly! I completely failed the lesson on how to apply regular falsies so I was afraid I was going to encounter the same issue with the magnetic lashes, but I didn’t! The magnets do the work for you! They also remain snug in place all day long!
My overall opinion, I would buy and continue to use again! Having a budget friendly beauty option that still provides me the same look as eyelash extensions is a win in my book! I highly recommend you try them too!
